An Introduction

The fingerprints of God - what a word picture! Don't we all have the fingerprints of God all over us? We see them in our lives and the lives of others daily. Both of our sons have the unmistakable fingerprints of God all over them. Looking at their lives from the moment of their conception to now, it is clear to see! They are both miracles in their own way, and they are both immense blessings to us, their parents.

We have been reading adoption and family websites and blogs for years now and have finally taken the step to host our own blog. Kevin and I began our journey to our oldest son a little over 23 years ago! And we began our journey to our younger son a little over three years ago. We didn't have the luxury of blogging and creating memories online back when Ted was little. What we did have were baby books and scores of pictures, with none of that being online. But we do have a website for our younger son, Philip, that you can visit if you would like to see his beginning with us. It is at myadoptionwebsite.com, Journey to Philip.

Thus begins this newest journey to another child for our family. This journey, too, has the fingerprints of God all over it. Come along and join us on our journey.

Janet,
I couldn't be more delighted to be the first comment (or at least it appears that way, unless you have a blog approval and have others waiting in line)...but at least I am your first follower.

How our eyes brim with tears that you and Kevin are in the process of "doing it again"...and joining us in the ranks of "should be empty-nesters" who are throwing excuses to the wind and saying, "let's do all we can for Christ - time is short - let's take orphans in and see them come to Christ!" OHHHH Yippee Jesus!

You and your family have blessed my family abundantly - and I will treasure the quilt forever!! We are thankful for your bloggy friendship and hope one day to be able to hug your neck in person!

Much love, Linn and Dw (and those who bring these should be empty-nesters such bountiful joy - Abi/Ryan, Tyler, Autumn, Emma, Graham, Liberty, Isaiah, Elizabeth, Elijah and soon Jubilee)...

I love this picture and am glad you are here to share your family with us. All the best as you embark on your newest journey to a family of five. We hope to see you in July.
